If you’re in sales, then you know that social selling is a hot topic right now. But why should you care? What is social selling? It’s the process of using social media to build relationships and connect with potential customers. By providing valuable content and engaging in two-way conversations, you can earn trust and build credibility with potential buyers.

Think about it this way: in the past, the only way to reach potential customers was through cold calling or meeting them in person. But today, thanks to social media, you can connect with anyone, anywhere in the world. That’s a huge opportunity for salespeople!

If you’re not already active on social media, you’re behind the times. In 2019, there were 3.484 billion active social media users — that’s nearly half the world’s population! And that number is only going to increase in the years to come. What does that mean for salespeople? It means that if you’re not using social media to connect with potential customers, then you’re missing out on a huge opportunity. Your customers are already on social media, so why not meet them where they’re at?
